WARSZAWA

The capital of Poland was completely rebuilt after WWII, with most significant buildings restored…. spent most of the day wondering around the old quarters, heading up the ‘Royal Walk’, which spans approx 5km, and covers most of the significant buildings/monuments... ending at the central “Empire State Building” replica …. Built during communist times, as a statement to the west that “Communism worked as predicted” …. History proved that that was a facade!!
