My advice for anyone who wants to get over jetleg … get pissed the first day you arrive anywhere, stay up as late as possible (preferably around 11pm) and then crash …. That way you wake up he next morning as normal … feeling crap from a hangover (I think on the body’s hierarchy of feeling crap, a bad hangover beats jetleg anyday …. Bit like a straight and against tree jacks). … and then all you have to do is get over the hangover …. Which most of us are pretty accustomed to.
Later that evening, stumbled (quite drunk) to Jo’s house (good friend of mine from highschool) where she and French hubby (Christophe aka CTT) put us up for the night. (after going out for dinner first, where Pamela almost fell asleep at the table .. she wasn’t feeling the best for the last few hours of the ).
I couldn’t believe how light it was at 10pm … and even when we were walking home around 11:30, the shy was not dark like in Oz ….but rather pale gray, like it was just past dusk.
