The roads in Romania are terrible, with sheep, cows and horse drawn-wagons slowing you down every few kilometers or so ….and to make matters worse, it has been pretty wet for most of the week.
Romania is quite a large country to travel through, and quiet poorer compared to its western neighbors …. With scenery which is predominantly rural, doesn’t really change much until you get into the mountains.
