From Boston, I flew direct to Barcelona (via Munich), and we spent the weekend there, enjoying the sun, food and general touristy sights.
I have to say, it being my first time in Spain, I really like the feel of the country, and people.
They are very friendly, relaxed, and seems like they have a great life balance... you can tell that people have the time to spend with friends, family and loved ones.
Barcelona is a very cosmopolitan city, with great history, and good fun to visit for a weekend…. I will definitely be back for another weekend soon.
I didn’t really get Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia… his unfinished grand project, which is still a work-in-progress for another 50 years … but maybe that’s just me lacking an artistic side.
