We decided to get away to Paris for the weekend .. its only 3 hours by the high speed Eurostar train, and quite a relaxing trip… of course once we got there it was straight to the Eiffel Tower, which was surrounded by a fog. Paris is a lot colder than London, and gloves, scarves and beanies are definitely a pre-requisite.We spent the days wondering around the city, and the attractions were interrupted by many stopovers at the cafes (for hot chocolates and coffees).
Of course, one has to go to the Louvre and appreciate the beauty of the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo.
