ADAM & JASMIN'S WEDDING

I had the honor of being Adam’s Best-Man … and it was a great day.
Jasmin looked beautiful …and the whole day was very laid back.

As part of the wedding party, we had photos taken before and after the ceremony … and of course we played up during the shoot….. and whenever we could to make the day as much fun as possible.

Once the speeches were all done, we let our hair down and hit both the bar and the dance floor ….. and ironically, Pamela caught the bouquet … which allowed plenty of ammunition for the guys to stir me up!

Its only fair that I also include some photos of what Jasmine and her girls got up to on the same night! ... and yes, the theme of the night was a PINK party.

ADAM’s BUCKS NIGHT

Well with little time to plan it … we ended up with a very well organized dis-organised night of drinking and celebration of end of bachelorhood ... starting with Go-Carting, and ending at the pub, Crazy Horse and Adelaide Casino.

Along the night we bumped into another Hen's night ... which always makes good cheeky fun for both sides!

2008 NEW YEARS EVE

Its been 5 years since I have been in Adelaide on NYE, and as the day approached, and I had not made any plans … I am in holiday mode, so tend to take things one day at a time, without really planning anything more than a day ahead!!

Also, quite a few of my good friends are interstate … and one thing I don’t like about Adelaide, is how much big deal is made over NYE … you have to book well in advance, and usually so much bid deal ends in disappointment …. The other side is that if you don’t book anything, all clubs/venues are booked out, full of drunk jerks, and so this also ends in a hours wait to get into a venue, which are so busy that getting a drink is harder than getting into the club.

So … I decided to have few quiet drinks in the back yard … with my parents and a few close friends who also felt the same way about pre-organizing NYE.
The alcohol flowed freely, we all had a laugh, and it ended up being a good night .. .and we were partying to such an extent that we missing the New Year by five minutes … not to worry.

Now the only drawback of the whole night was the following morning … the price I paid in over-indulgance in years of accumulated duty-free alcohol … Remember kids: Beer, Rose, Gin, Cashasa, Cinzano, Jagermeister, Vodka, Chartreuse, Campari, Red Bull and Moet (in no particular order) just don’t mix … no matter what time of the year it is!!

BOXING-DAY AT THE BEACH

After many meals over Xmas, decided to go to the local beach for the afternoon.
The Grange beach is only 2km from where I live … and it is a beautiful clean beach, with sprawling white sand … I miss it .. and it reminds me of how lucky we are in Adelaide, to have such a great place minutes from our homes
Also, forgot just how powerful the Oz sun is .. and despite it being 25 degrees and windy … after 3 hours, myself and Pamela got extremely burned …. Not that we noticed until the next day … and yes … we did spend the next week nursing sunburn, and peeling!
