KIDS

It seems that all my friends are having kids .... or are in the process (part thereof ...ie.knocked-up).....In the 2 ½ years that I have been away ..... the babies have grow into little people ...and it was a buzz seeing them reflect individual traits, characteristic, and personalities.

UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL

Mucking around with the camera ... quite a scary sight....

WEDDINGS ALWAYS UNITE FRIENDS

The wedding was a great occasion for everyone to catch up, have a laugh, and have a few drinks.

GABBI’S WEDDING

The timing worked out great, and I managed to make it to Gabbi & Mike’s wedding.
It was approx 100km south of Adelaide, in a little winery ..... and despite the fact that it was blowing a gale and rained in the morning ... the day cleared up quite nicely ... to a great day.

Congratulations to the Newlyweds !!

BACK TO OZ

Being Thanks-Giving in USA ... it was a great opportunity for me to fly back to Australia for a couple of weeks. The flight is (connection in Sydney) is not too bad ... if you can sleep through most of it ... which I did...... Adelaide was bit overcast and chilly ... bit disappointing considering I expected 30 plus degrees.
It was a busy few weeks (I had to do some work first week) ... and trying to catch up with everyone, was quite a task.... but I think I managed to squeeze almost everyone.

BEIJING .... GREAT WALL

We did the usuall tourist marks: Great Wall, Tianamin Square, Forbidden Palace, and of course a lot of drinking, eating, and carrying on!
My camera's memory card got corrupted ...so the only photos I have are from Mate's camera, predominantly of the trip to the Great Wall ... (it was an all day trip, with lots of climbing and steps).

BEIJING ... from four corners of the world

I was invited to Beijing for my friend (Mate) 30th birthday.... we stayed with his old Adelaide buddy (Matt) and few other boys flew in from all over the world ....(the day I was departing, it dawned on me that geographically, we were leaving to 4 different corners of the world.
  • Gasper from London
  • Mate from Johannesburg
  • Scott/Greg from Sydney
  • Me from LA

BEIJING BUILDINGS

Beijing has some amazing buildings (the city has reaaly developed within the last decade or so) ... and there are some amazing modern buildings
